CAPTAIN AMERICA
FANTASTIC FOUR
The Marvel Superheroes an animated television series starring popular Marvel comic-book superheroes from Marvel Comics. It was first syndicated, on U.S. television, in 1966.
Produced by Grantray-Lawrence Animation, headed by Grant Simmons, Ray Patterson and Robert Lawrence, it was an umbrella series of Cartoon Segments, each approximately seven minutes long, broadcast on local television stations that aired the show at different times. The series ran initially as a half-hour program made up of Marvel superheros, separated by a short description of one of the other heroes. It has also been broadcast as a mixture of various heroes in a half-hour timeslot, and as individual segments as filler or within a children's TV program.
The Marvel Super-Heroes: CAPTAIN AMERICA
Grantray-Lawrence/ ARP/Krantz Films (1966-1967)
When Captain America throws his mighty shield,
All those who chose to oppose his shield must yield.
If he?s led to a fight and a duel is due,
Then the red, and the white, and the blue will come through.
When Captain America throws his mighty shield!
Captain America was really Steve Rogers, a skinny World War II G.I. who volunteered to be a guinea pig for an experimental "super soldier serum." After taking the drug, Steve was endowed with heightened strength, speed, and agility, making him the finest specimen the human race had to offer. With the use of his newfound powers and a nearly indestructible shield, Captain America and his sidekick Bucky battled super villains like the Red Skull, as well as an inexhaustible supply of Nazi soldiers.

Turns into the Hulk.
Ain?t he unglamour-rays?
Wrecking the town with the power of a bull.
He?s so monster-ful! Who is as loveable?
As ever-lovin? Hulk?HULK! HULK!
The Incredible Hulk was a creation of Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. The green-skinned Hulk was really Dr. Bruce Banner, a scientist who had helped develop a new bomb that used gamma rays to destroy its target. After accidentally being caught in the blast, Banner found himself transformed into a giant green creature with unbelievable strength. There were only two drawbacks: first, the good doctor had no control over his transformation; and second, when Banner became the Hulk, he retained none of his alter ego?s intelligence or memories, essentially becoming a completely different (and angrier) person. While the Hulk usually ended up fighting simply to protect himself, the general public saw him as a threat. His one friend and ally was young Rick Jones, the only other person who knew that the Hulk and Bruce Banner were one and the same.

And Iron Man?s all jets ablaze.
He?s fightin? and smitin? with repulsor rays.
Amazing armor?that?s Iron Man!
A-blazing power?it?s IRON MAN!
Iron Man was another Stan Lee creation. While in Vietnam to see his weapon designs tested out first-hand, millionaire inventor Tony Stark was struck in the chest with a piece of shrapnel. In order to keep himself alive, Stark jerry-rigged an armored suit, part of which acted as an external pacemaker to keep his damaged heart alive. But the benefits were much more than medical: as Iron Man, Stark possessed the powers of flight, super strength, and an array of weaponry. After the war, Stark used his wealth and technology to make numerous modifications to the suit, the better to help him fight evildoers like the Mandarin, Crimson Dynamo, and the Titanium Man.

The Marvel Super-Heroes: SUB-MARINER
Grantray-Lawrence/ ARP/Krantz Films (1966-1967)
Stronger than a whale, he can swim anywhere,
He can breathe underwater and go flying through the air.
The noble Sub-Mariner, prince of the deep.
So, be wary any demons,
For Namor of Atlantis is the prince of the deep!
The Sub-Mariner was the title given by surface dwellers to Prince Namor of Atlantis, a half-human/half-Atlantean hybrid. More anti-hero than super-hero, Namor hated all surface-dwellers, regardless of who they were. As luck would have it, the moody prince often found himself aiding mankind against polluters or other villains whose actions also posed a threat to his underwater home. Blessed with super-strength and the ability to fly using wings attached to his feet, the Sub-Mariner would repel any threat to Atlantis, even when it ended up also helping the ?land-lubbers? he so disdained.
One interesting note is that this series featured the first appearance of the X-MEN in animated cartoon form. Several Sub-Mariner episodes were adapted from issues of the FANTASTIC FOUR comic in which Namor guest-starred, but because the FF were appearing in their own animated series for Hanna-Barbera, they were replaced by the original X-Men (Prof. Xavier, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Angel, and the Beast).

Although he spent most of his time on Earth?where he defended mankind from villains such as the Absorbing Man and Mr. Hyde, while wooing Dr. Blake?s pretty nurse, Jane Foster?Thor would often return to his Asgardian home to converse with his father, the all-powerful Odin, or to foil the plots of his evil brother Loki, God of Mischief.
